How to omit objects from a camera in 3Ds Max?

Want to omit an object from just one camera, without having to move or delete it? In this way that I will teach you today, it is possible to organize your scene by omitting undesirable objects!

Let’s go step by step:

Photographic parameters

In this example we have the camera that appears in the entire kitchen scene, so that you can understand better we want to omit the table that appears in this scene, for that it is enough:

  • Go to photographic parameters and look for the object visibility tab.
  • Select the Enable include/exclude list option.
  • Click on the button below it will open the tab for excluding and including items.
  • Now, in this list, just search for the name of the object you want to exclude or include in the camera’s visibility.
  • Click on the indicated arrow to include and ok.

That’s it, when you do the render preview you will see that this object no longer appears in the scene!

See the video below:

To facilitate this process, it is interesting to name all the objects in your scene in order to organize them for the search, so it becomes easier to have control of all the modeling!

BEFORE

AFTER

In the first scene, the table object still appears in the scene, which in this case hinders the complete visibility of the room!
After using the resource taught, we omit the kitchen table from the scene, WITHOUT EXCLUDING IT, so it will appear in the other cameras.
